The first chick built a house of hay. The second chick built a house of twigs. And website the third chick, she was very smart, built a house of bricks.
When the predator came to the first house, he just breathed heavily and exerted himself and it blew the house into pieces. The first chick scampered to his sister's house.
The wolf came to the second house and huffed and puffed and it blew the house apart. The two chicks fled to their sister's house.
But when the wolf came to the third house, he huffed and exerted himself but it wouldn't move. The babies were protected inside.
Finally, the beast was too exhausted to try any longer. He went away hungry.
The three chicks learned that it is important to be prepared and to build a secure house. They lived happily in the end in their brick house.
